Finding student housing in Guadeloupe and Martinique can be tricky. But don’t worry – with good organisation, it is entirely doable!
One key piece of advice: start the process as early as possible and don’t wait until you arrive in the Antilles to begin your search! As the Antilles is a highly popular tourist destination year-round, affordable housing close to the campuses can be limited, especially at short notice.
Crous University Residences
Both in Guadeloupe and Martinique, the CROUS manages student residences near the various campuses. However, places are allocated through a national application process, and registration on the MesServicesEtudiants platform to submit a Student Social File (DSE) is mandatory.
It is also important to note that due to the increasing number of French means-tested scholarship holders, the CROUS will only be able to allocate a very limited number of places to international students. You must therefore make sure to explore other housing options.

Other Options
